Top 5 Places To Grab Food And A Cocktail After Playing A Set In Deep Ellum
Hey, I'm Gracie! I'm the lead singer of moonstone. - an alt-pop band based out of Dallas. When we're not touring, we're playing or attending local shows in Deep Ellum.
You can really work up an appetite after playing a show. Load-in, running around the venue, soundcheck, playing the show and then loading out - I'm tired just thinking about it. I usually eat pretty light before our shows and want something substantial afterwards - finger foods, greasy, bready, hearty. We're blessed with awesome food here in Deep Ellum!

Pepe's and Mito's
It's a moonstone. tradition to grab tex-mex and margaritas from this place before every Deep Ellum show. Their food is SO GOOD and staff are so sweet! The perfect tex-mex spot.
Will Call
Will Call has some of the best wings in the area and their chicken sandwich is to die for. Definitely a good place to hit after a long show day and you need something hearty and filling.
Hawkers
I love their bao buns and soup dumplings, and they have awesome cocktails. Love the atmosphere!
Ricky's Tacos
Located in the courtyard area of Club Dada, this taco stand hits every time. Huge portions, cheap and exactly what you want after a long day of working.
Armory D.E.
I have yet to try Armory's food (it looks amazing) but their cocktails are so good. "As Above, So Below" and "Lilith & Eve" are my favorite cocktails. It's the perfect way to celebrate after playing a successful Deep Ellum show.
