See if you qualify then use the process below.
Step 0 - Make sure you’re registered to vote in Texas
Before getting started, you need to check that you’re registered to vote in the state of Texas. You can check online here. If you are not registered, you can do so online here, or through one of several ways that you can find here. Don’t wait till the last minute to get registered!
Step 1 - Apply for your ballot
In the state of Texas, you first need to apply for your ballot to be mailed to you. You can do so by mail using this form or you can do so online here. The deadline to apply for your mail-in ballot is October 29th. Though if mailing in your application, it is recommended you do so at least one week before the deadline.
Step 2 - Fill out your ballot
Once you receive your ballot in the mail, simply fill it out according to the instructions. Use a black or blue ballpoint pen or a felt-tip pen when filling it out. All mail-in ballots come with postage-paid ballot return envelopes to return the ballots.
